About me

I'm Rebeca Cáceres.

PhD in Psychology · Success management expert

My passion for Psychology leads me to explore its different ways of reaching people.

From the intimacy of therapy to the university, the pages of a book, the media and the stage.

How I see things
Portrait of Rebeca Cáceres
The question that stays with me

How do you live the life you want
while being who you are?

That question runs through my work. Identity, relationships and the freedom to decide are part of the life we build and of how we experience success.

My perspective

The person behind
the persona.

I am interested in the invisible side of success for those who live from their talent: the part that lies beyond achievements, recognition and status.

I am deeply interested in the person: their story, their identity, their relationships and their real needs. How they feel, what they find hard to sustain and what they need to enjoy the life they live.

My purpose is to put the focus on the person when the spotlights on the persona go out.

I support artists, leaders and creators in taking care of themselves while they sustain what they have built. In reviewing their direction, working on what needs attention and making room for a life of their own.

I believe in Psychology as the rigorous science it is. In therapy as a space where you can ask uncomfortable questions in order to know and recognize yourself. And in a Psychology that steps out into the world to speak with clarity, honesty and humanity.

As a person and as a professional, I am less and less interested in the boxes that kill difference, and more in the expansion that comes with the freedom to dare to be.

One profession, different ways of reaching people

Psychology runs through
everything I do.

In therapy

The one-to-one encounter. A space to understand your story, attend to the present and work with each person's reality.

How I can help

At the university

Teaching as a space to share knowledge, open up questions and train those who will go on to support other people.

In the pages of a book

Writing as a way of bringing psychology closer to life and exploring the freedom of living in coherence with yourself.

El éxito de ser tú

In the press and on television

I regularly contribute to the press and television, offering a psychological perspective on mental health, success, well-being and the ways we live today.

My media presence

On stage

Psychological rigor, questions that stir something, and tools to think about how we live, create and lead.

Speaking

With organizations

Knowledge and participatory experiences to work on emotional awareness, relationships and leadership in teams.

Career and training

A perspective built
from experience.

I hold a PhD in Psychology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with cum laude distinction, and a degree in Psychology from the Universidad de Salamanca.

My career as a psychotherapist spans nearly twenty years. I direct Tribeca Psicólogos, with offices in Madrid and Salamanca, and I am a university professor at the Universidad Internacional de Valencia.

My training combines systemic therapy, brief strategic therapy and EMDR. I am an EMDR Europe consultant.

I have worked in the care of people with Alzheimer's and their families, and I have held roles in human resources management and business management. Those contexts have broadened my understanding of people, their relationships and the responsibilities they carry.

Clinical practice, teaching, management, writing and outreach are part of a single vocation: bringing psychology closer to the places where we live.
